Presenting Denver: How did you learn about the Festival and what is your interest in it?
Teri Wagner: The festival was brought to my attention by one of the dancers in the company. To show that Integrated Dance is for everyone.
PD: How would you describe yourself in three words?
TW: Creative, determined and passionate.
PD: What’s the most meaningful thing an audience member has asked or told you?
TW: That anyone can dance regardless of their disability /ability. To change the perception of what a dancer “LOOKS” like.
PD: What is the best piece of dance career advice you’ve ever been given, and by whom?
TW: Believe in yourself. Paul Fiorino, Ballet Arts Colorado
PD: How were you first introduced to dance, and what did you think at the time?
TW: An all wheelchair square dance team call the Colorado Wheelers.”I want to do that!”
