Based out of Denver CO, Moraporvida Contemporary Dance (MPVCD) is a multicultural 501-C3 non-profit repertory dance company.

The Company features an amazing group of dancers and performers that has been committed to its mission of exploring the human condition through live performance, residencies, workshops, classes, and outreach. MPVCD has been seen across the nation showcasing a collection of powerful electrifying, award-winning repertory that has been featured in concert venues, award shows and festivals.

Established by Jacob Mora, “Porvida” is Spanish meaning “For Life”.

By stating the words PORVIDA!  It is the mantra, statement and testament for the life we have and for the courage to live it well! The commitment to be who we were meant to be without apology or compromise.
