Zikr Dance Ensemble presents “Initiation”

Zikr Dance Ensemble is excited to announce its 2023 Fall Season, “Initiation”. The company will present a reprise of Tomm Ruud’s stunning miniature masterpiece and audience favorite, “Mobile”, along with two new premieres by Artistic Director David Taylor, “Icarus After”, based on the Greek myth of the son of master craftsman Daedulus, who flew close to the sun with his waxen wings, and “Ripples in the Sand”, an abstract multi-media work set to the haunting music of Hans Zimmer.
