Waiting for the Other Shoe to Drop

WAITING FOR THE OTHER SHOE TO DROP, an evening of six dances, is the work of Stacey Temple DANCE and T2 Dance Company.

The title piece, WAITING FOR THE OTHER SHOE TO DROP, is a haunting work in which four dancers explore the world of knowing something cataclysmic is about to happen, but when?

Using text and a sampling of music from the 1960’s.TOTO, I HAVE A FEELING WE’RE NOT IN KANSAS ANYMORE pokes fun at the changing world of … “Oh, let’s say, meeting someone.”

And so GOES the Monkey Mind, a piece for six dancers, examines what happens as we get pushed further and further into the frenzy of our lives and are faced with enormous tectonic shifts.

Stacey Temple ’s dances will be performed by Elizabeth Bragg, Breegan Kearney, Claire Fisher, Emma S. Kimball, Jessica Riggs and Gabrielle Welsh

T2 Dance Company, directed by Erin Tunbridge, will feature performances by Larah Pamplin and Killian von Holdt.
