Jamie Kraus is an avid performance photographer who specializes in preserving movement. Her passion for photography began on a National Geographic Student Expedition to Peru, where she learned photojournalism from renowned photographer Michael Hanson. Her education has continued through her studies in the Photographic Sciences program at the Rochester Institute of Technology as well as her internships at Time Out Chicago, The Glimmerglass Festival and Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival. This combination of documentary and technical photography has given Jamie a unique perspective and approach to her profession. Her other obsessions include mac and cheese, The Olympics, and Antarctica.
