Arvada Center for the Arts & Humanities
January 17, 2016 Presenting Denver

There are 2 tracks of training at the Arvada Center, Academy and General Dance classes. The beginning Academy students experience the joy of dance and music while learning the discipline, technique and respect that is intrinsic to all forms of dance. As the dancers mature and improve they gradually take more classes each week to ensure a positive progression in their training. Academy classes are offered in ballet, jazz, modern and hip hop. All Academy students have the opportunity to perform 6 times each spring on the Arvada Center’s Main Stage Theater.

The General Dance classes are taught by the same instructors as the Academy, classes are tailored for toddlers, pre-school, teens, adults and seniors. Toddler and pre-school dance classes are offered for ages 3-6 through the Art Start Dance Program, teens, adults and seniors can choose from tap, ballet, jazz, Pilates and hip hop.
