ABOUT PARASOL ARTS
Parasol Arts is a professionally operated non-profit organization for dancers, musicians, vocalists and creative artists who have achieved recognition in their respective fields of study and seek to collaborate on unique and original theatrical productions. By bringing together the talents of these artists in highly artistic performances, Parasol Arts endeavours to transcend and heighten our cultural experience and take inspiration from the art of Argentine Tango.
ABOUT LORITA TRAVAGLIA
Lorita Travaglia, Creative Director of Parasol Arts, has an extensive background in dance having had a professional performing career with ballet companies around the world that spanned 22 years. She is currently the Ballet Mistress of Colorado Ballet.
Inspired by her love of Argentine Tango, Lorita created Parasol Arts in 2012. She enjoys exploring the artistic and creative aspects of Argentine Tango and aims to bring inspiration to people from all walks of life in her unique dance productions.

Take part in an afternoon of free dance performances on the Boettcher Center Lawn on June 23, 2018. View works by Colorado artists David Taylor’s Zikr Dance Ensemble, Mary Lynn Lewark, Maureen Breeze Dance Theater, Nile H. Russell, Nu-World Contemporary Danse Theatre, Parasol Arts, and Thomas Dance Project on our outdoor Public Stage in the No Walls concert. Bring the kids, pack a picnic, and make an afternoon of it!
