ABOUT MAUREEN BREEZE DANCE THEATER
Maureen Breeze Dance Theater is a newly formed Denver based company featuring choreography that celebrates the human experience. Original music scores with blended text, athletic movement, and theatrics are integrated to explore human encounters, whether they are musings from an elevator ride, observations of travelers on an airport concourse, or personal journeys of transformation. Choreographer Maureen Breeze, (formerly artistic director of JUMPSTART/Dance Works, 1994 – 2005) is thrilled to be choreographing and producing dance theater once again in the professional arena for audiences of all ages.
ABOUT MAUREEN BREEZE
Maureen Breeze’s choreography has been produced in NYC, LA, Seattle, and Denver. As the director of JUMSPTART/Dance Works (1995-2005), Ms. Breeze choreographed for the professional stage, as well as created outreach programs for students, seniors and prison populations. Maureen spent the last 12 years working as Senior VP for an education consulting firm while raising her two children. During this time she was on faculty at the Classical Ballet Academy and a guest artist at the Denver School of the Arts. She’s thrilled to be staging new work for her own company once again.
