ABOUT DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR
Delusions of Grandeur was founded by Kristen Demaree and Elvira Stewart in 2005. The mission of this company has always been to create new works in collaboration with other artists. This year, their artistic vision seeks to create new mythologies in ballet based on the rich history of gesture in ballet. Working with local dancers, their work is sympathetic to the body while incorporating poetic narrative and a feminist perspective that utilizes ballet as a revolutionary force.
