ABOUT EDGAR L. PAGE
Detroit Native, Edgar L. Page began his training through the Detroit Public Schools system, graduating from Cass Technical High School and furthering his studies at the Alvin Ailey School and the Liz Lerman Dance Exchange. Earning a BA in Dance from Western Michigan University, he was a member of the Dayton Contemporary Dance Second Company before joining the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble for nearly a decade. With graceful prowess, Page investigates contemporary movement aesthetics while curating emotional landscapes from within the human experience for the stage.

MASTER CLASS AND PREVIEW PERFORMANCE SERIES

As part of the Presenting Denver Dance Festival Master Class and Preview Performance Series, Edgar will be teaching an intermediate jazz master class for students ages 10-14 years on February 17, 2018 from 1-2:30pm. Edgar will also be showing a sneak peek of the work he is creating for the dance festival from 2:45-3:45pm. The informal showing will be followed by a short audience Q/A with the artists as well as a reception. Both events will take place at Colorado Conservatory of Dance. Learn more.

Main Stage | New & Now
The 2018 Presenting Denver Dance Festival, co-presented by Presenting Denver and The Robert and Judi Newman Center for the Performing Arts, will be a compilation of world premieres by Colorado artists Chadash Contemporary Dance Movement, Edgar L. Page, Gregory Gonzales, Hannah Kahn Dance Company, Helanius J. Wilkins, Kristen Demaree, Moraporvida Contemporary Dance, and The Schiff Dance Collective. These main stage artists will perform in the New & Now concert in the Byron Theatre on June 23-24, 2018. There will be additional dance activities over the weekend and throughout the year.
