Mariette Moore grew up in Colorado Springs, where her love of dance was fostered at the Dance Center of Colorado Springs under Rozanne David and Darra Gasper. There she practiced all forms of dance, and was fortunate enough to perform competitively for many years. Mariette continued to dance through college, and her artistic pursuits lead her to work in art galleries throughout Atlanta. This experience brought her to New York City to work for a private dealer turned gallerist, Blair Voltz Clarke, who mentored her in the business practices and philanthropic protocols of the modern artistic space. Inspired with this insight, she pursued a unique opportunity at a fine art media company, Louise Blouin Media, where she still works today.
While in New York City, Mariette was a founding board member of the American Folk Art Museum’s Young Folk membership group. Motivated to offer the same support to Denver’s artistic community, Mariette returned to Colorado a year and a half ago and is proud to serve with Presenting Denver. She currently sits on the boards of Culturehaus, the Denver Center Alliance and Platteforum.
