Jamie Kraus is a Denver-based dance photographer who has been capturing dynamic motion since 2010. Her passion for photography began on a National Geographic Student Expedition to Peru, where she learned photojournalism from renowned photographer Michael Hanson. Her education has continued through her studies in the Photographic Sciences program at the Rochester Institute of Technology as well as her internships at Time Out Chicago, The Glimmerglass Festival and Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival. This combination of documentary and technical photography has given Jamie a unique perspective and approach to her profession. When she isn’t behind a camera, you can find her eating mac and cheese, obsessing over the Olympics, or exploring art museums.
