Hilary Simons Morland

Hilary loves to watch and write about dancers.  She is a life-long aficionado of the performing arts, and studied dance casually through college. Hilary manages social media and serves on the Board for the Denver Ballet Guild. She also teaches Anthropology at Metropolitan State University and at the Colorado Women’s College, University of Denver. She is a certified climate change educator, and, in the past, has done fieldwork on lemurs and monkeys, coordinated conservation programs in Africa, and raised three children, one of whom is a professional contemporary dancer in New York. Hilary is a California native, and has a BA from Reed College and a PhD from Yale.
