Ewa Wilke

Ewa Wilke

Ewa was born and raised in Poland. After leaving Poland, she completed her bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Criminology at Regis University in Denver, CO.

Ewa’s journey has started when she was asked to work with children at church in Poland, between years of 2004-2007. The kids were mainly from difficult families, whose parents were alcoholics or drug addicts. Children did not have enough resources for a proper development. It was a great challenge to set an example for them, and to lead them on a right path in their young years. Working with challenging children has led to Ewa’s choice of moving to the United States in 2007, and working as an au pair. Ewa has gained a variety of experiences from working for a single parent, mentally challenged children and a parent, to taking care of triplets, and managing a household.

Aside from childcare experience, Ewa was a missionary intern in 2006 in Sweden at the Holsbybrunn Bible School and thanks to the international environment has grown to understand how to respect different cultures, perspectives, customs, and beliefs. In 2009-2010, Ewa was involved with Rape Assistance and Awareness Program (RAAP), where she provided service as a crisis hotline advocate. Training included: child abuse and child neglect, domestic violence, and sexual abuse. The rest is history. From being involved with a few non-profits (human trafficking, troubled girls, cancer research) in Denver, from organizing events, public speaking, and fundraising. Ewa’s goal is to continue to make a difference in communities with her time, effort, and adequate knowledge.
